Issue #4 of my H. P. Lovecraft fanzine, The Lemurian — An Eldritch Personal Journal, published in February, 1991, was eight pages long. The cover art was by my old pal, Ron DiGiacomo. The contents are:
“Necronomicon Notes” – David Barker’s reviews of three Necronomicon Press publications: “Letters to Henry Kutner” by H. P. Lovecraft, “The Fantastic Poetry,” by HPL, and “The Conservative” by HPL.
“The Burrowers Beyond” – a poem by Ann K. Schwader.
“An Afternoon To Remember” — an essay by Carl E. Heffley.
“Tales From Sesqua Valley” — David Barker’s review of Wilum Hopfrog Pugmire’s Sarcophagus Press chapbook of five weird tales.
“Farewell The Running Dinosaur” — news item by David Barker.
“Excerpts From The Dream Journal of Ralph E. Vaughan” — prose by REV.
“Letters” – letters to the editor from Duane Rimel, Richard Novak, Ann K. Schwader, Ken Faig, Jr., and Wilum Hopfrog Pugmire, Gent.
“Midnight Feast” — poem by Carl E. Heffley.
“Shunned House Dream” — prose poem by David Barker.

The cover is shown below. Several people have contacted me lately, asking to buy copies of The Lemurian (later titled Ye Olde Lemurian) as well as Midnight Shambler No. 1 and 2 (which I edited and published), and a one-shot ‘zine called The 100th Lovecrafter. Unfortunately, all of these were very limited editions, and I ran out of extra copies years ago. I’d love to see them reprinted, although it would be a big job tracking down all of the contributors and getting their permission to reprint the work. If any of these fanzines are reissued, I’ll announce that here.
